Dietetic Assistant

Dmitri is a dietetic assistant in an acute hospital trust, he is shadowed by a sixth form work experience student for an hour once a week, who is interested in a career in dietetics. 

He will talk them through what he is doing and why and they observe his practice

Speech and Language therapy support worker

Aisha is a Speech and Language therapy support worker.

With the support of her manager she has written and delivered a teaching resource on communication aids for the teaching staff at a special educational needs school she visits

Generic Therapy Assistant

Musa is a generic therapy assistant in a rehabilitation unit, he is the Health and Wellbeing Champion for the team. 

As part of this his attends meetings organised by his Trust’s Health and Wellbeing team and communicates their initiatives to his clinical team in their monthly meetings
